Holocaust survivor Rena Quint shared her story, knowing that the opportunity to hear directly from those who survived the Holocaust is approaching its end.

On October 7, at another festival called the Nova in southern Israel, thousands of similarly aged attendees were massacred.

This comes amid a recent increase in tensions between Israel and Turkey.

"The public is requested not to enter the area, to follow the instructions of the police, and to choose alternative routes," the Police said. 

The committee heard from Yesh Atid MK Shelly Tal Meron, the legal director of UK Lawyers for Israel, Natasha Hausdorff, and British journalist Jonathan Sacerdoti.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also instructed the IDF and Fire and Rescue Brigades to prepare reserves from Greece and other countries abroad.

Yad Vashem also denounced the "repeated attempts to rehabilitate Cukurs's image in Latvia by distorting and ignoring historical truth."

“Sharks aren’t interested in humans. We're not part of their diet. Incidents like the one in Hadera are extremely rare," said Dr. Aviad Scheinin, a researcher at the University of Haifa.
